Hardware Upgrades

Brockworth PC Repairs offer the following hardware services

Memory Upgrades -

We will take a look at your system and advise you on how much memory it can take and depending on your computing needs how much to buy.  We can source the memory for you and get you the best deals or you can buy it and we will install it and check it. 

Hardisks -

Is your harddisk full? if the answer is yes then you have a couple of options.

• We can replace you hardisk and transfer your data to the new one.  We can ghost your existing disk and copy it to the new larger one
• Pc's can have more than one hardisk, providing the first one is sound then it may be easier to have a second disk installed to give you more useable space.

If your harddisk is damaged then we can set you up new one. To reinstall your software you will need your original disk's we have Operating system disks but you will need a valid serial number, this will usually be on a sticker on the side of your computer.  If you not sure ask and we will advise.

There are two types of hardisk Ide and Sata the age and motherboard of your PC will depend on which you can use, we would suggest that you ask us first before buying a new harddisk or get us to source it for you.  We will look at your system and advise you on the best course of action.
